This material can be reuse after desorption and regeneration, which makes it become a high efficiency and environment friendly adsorption material.In this project, green glass adsorbent is applied to the remediation of heavy metal contaminated soil. The heavy metal in the soil is extracted into the acid eluent by soil acid leaching method. The acid eluent which contains high concentration of heavy metal ions will be treated by green glass adsorbent until the concentration of heavy metal ions lower than effluent standard, so acid eluent can be reused. Soil acid leaching is a positive method of remediation because it can actually remove heavy metals from the soil, and soil after remedying and restoration is able to backfill to farmland. Waste water containing heavy metal is treated by green glass adsorbent to lower the generation of toxic slurry comparing to chemical coagulation process.
