We promoted international interchange in accident prevention; participated in the 12th Meeting of the Persistent Organic Pollutants Review Committee (POPRC-12) under the Stockholm Convention, an International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC) conference in the US, a training session at France's Centre of Documentation, Research and Experimentation on Accidental Water Pollution (CEDRE), and a professional training class for 25 people at Japan's Maritime Disaster Prevention Center, during which visits to Japan’s disaster prevention and response units were organized.
