With respect to establishing forensics of river sediment on targeted contaminants, the information collection of river sediments, water pollution background information, and contamination investigation was done prior to sample collection, analyses, and data analyses. With respect to the establishment of the indicator information of industrial sludge, the data and information files were built for LED, LCD, DRAM, leathering, petrochemical, printed circuit board, passive electronic, solar energy, and fabrication between 2012 and 2015. With respect to the representation test, samples were taken from the industries of fabrication, dye manufacturing, and petrochemical for analyses and the results were compared with the existing data in the database. With respect to the handbook compilation, sample pretreatment procedures and forensic procedure flowchart were included in order to track the contamination source and develop new forensic technologies.The draft of 「Technical Guidance of Environmental Forensic Sampling」 and 「Operational Handbook of Environmental Forensic Technology」 were compiled.
