On Aug. 17th of 2020, an on-foot “Mountain Cleaning Workshop” was held to explore the key problems of the environment and discuss the solutions. From August, 2019 to July, 2020, 10 environmental hygiene meeting was held to discuss topics including reducing cigarette butts to increase environment quality, readjusting environment cleaning and maintenance assessment project of local governments, enhancing ‘toilet-using culture’ and increasing quality and quantity of night market public restrooms.
The project produced 2 marketing materials relating to promoting not to discard cigarette butts randomly (which includes one for the stores and one for the public), 2 environmental hygiene related reports on print media (which includes topic of dengue fever and cigarette butts), and also collect and organise environment cleaning-related files that have regional characteristics.
