The results of the performance audit demonstrated the quality of monitoring stations slightly decreased.The purpose of the functional check was mainly to focus on non-routine surveys and assessments on stations house maintenance, facility equipments, the document recording, the monitor operation conditions, the monitoring data check and the monitoring instruments accuracy inspection. Total of 1080 functional checks were performed in two years and a total of 160809 items were conducted. Among all checked items, 915 items were found defective. The results of the functional check demonstrated the defective rate to be 0.57%. The defective rate of recent five years were 0.59%、0.62%、0.65%、0.66%、0.55%, respectively, which are all less than the specification of 0.7%, This result shows high quality in sustaining operation and maintenance of monitoring stations.
