It was a substantial improvement compared to last year. The locals made every endeavor to maintain the environment tidiness. In particular, the efforts to promote internationalization, tourist attractions and urban areas have been dedicated to environmental preservation works, such as coastal cleanup, river course dredging, open area plantation, and streets renovation, and improved foreigners’ perception of Taiwan. We also identified items needed improvement. Among them, the waste (bag), bulk waste, and construction waste disposal were the most serious ones.
