2.To establish interpretation tools or functions for aircraft noise monitoring data to be used for inspection by the local Environmental Protection Bureau.
(1)Completed establishment of interpretation tools or functions for aircraft noise monitoring data, including inspection and maintenance of aircraft noise monitoring data, maintenance of interpretation tools or functions for aircraft noise data, and settings for operating, testing, cross comparison, data integration, and export/import at 17 airports under the jurisdiction of the local Environmental Protection Bureau in the four regions—north, central, south and east—of Taiwan.
(2)Completed update to the “Guidelines for Governing the Operation of Aircraft Noise Monitoring Stations, Inspection of Monitoring Centers, and Review of Aircraft Noise Monitoring Report in the Vicinity of Airports” formulated by the EPA (including the environmental protection rating mechanism on aircraft noises) to be made available for reference by the local Environmental Protection Bureau.
(3)Completed implementation of training workshops on interpretation tools of aircraft noise monitoring data for the Environmental Protection Bureau of counties or cities where an airport is located or the airport management unit.
3.To conduct compilation of the Handling Procedures and Do’s and Don’ts on Noise Complaints Concerning Land Transportation System, including Guidelines Governing the Correction of Background Sound Level for Composite Noise Sources.
