This project completed100.00％ as report. Our service in central region inclouded seven counties and city of Taichung, Changhua, Nantou, Yunlin, Kinmen, Chiayi. The ERTs responded to 41 events (including 20simulation/exercises). In addition, two ERTs also conducted 62 site visit for manufacture plants, initiated 37 unannounced tests for toxic chemical operation, reviewed 70 emergency response plans for local environmental protection bureaus, hold 10 workshops regulation promulgation/education, and assisted in 9 field exercises with various local governmental agencies. This project also hosted two governmental agency-training workshops, two mutual aid training workshops and two experience sharing meetings with representative of Taiwan Environmental Protection Administration (TEPA). And, this project also helped collect 1,033 scenarios of high risk plants operating in industrial parks. In addition, this project hosted an international workshop for experience exchange and invited two experts from U.S., Dr. Pao-Chiang Yuan and John B. Pope, III in July.
