On gathering of relevant international information and development trend, the project has gathered information on education of citizens on climate change from UNFCCC’s published national communications submitted by European Union, Denmark, Finland, Germany, USA and Japan, as well as several submissions from non-Annex I counties. Project personnel also took part in Japan’s Eco-Products 2007 and Canada’s Globe 2008 conferences and exhibitions.
As of the end of July 2008, 450 products from 32 partners were qualified under ENERGY STAR program in Taiwan. Also 3 products were found to be using the ENERGY STAR logo illegally through the project’s surveillance activities.
