The hazard classification of 10 toxic chemical substances between the Toxic and Chemical Substances Bureau and The European Chemicals Agency has been analyzed. In addition, according to substance information from the toxicology database, the project has provided updated advice on the hazard classification of 5 toxic chemical substances. Through the analysis results of hazard classification, improvement suggestions for hazard classification between different ministries have been made. Furthermore, the project has created guidance on the hazard classification and labeling of hydrogen fluoride. It has also assisted 20 factories in improving the rationality of label content to enhance hazard warning levels through guidance.
The project has assisted in revising the “Regulations for the Labeling and Materials Safety Data Sheets for Toxic and Concerned Chemical Substances”. The revision added the regulation of minimum dimensions of labels. In addition, the project organized an education and training course for law enforcement officers.
