Said enterprises, once taken off the regulatory list, are subject to additional regulations for control and penalization if there are risks of stored raw materials or drugs leaking and contaminating water bodies. The goal is to keep proper track of the enterprises’ situation for intensified controls.

The EPA’s letter focuses on enterprises that are categorized and defined by the Water Pollution Control Act.
