(2) Research and analysis was undertaken regarding the factors behind the production and sale of substandard and adulterated cooking oil products, and recommendations were put forward regarding expansion of the scope of waste oil management. (3) Estimates were compiled regarding the quantity of night-soil generated in Taiwan each year, and the Review of the Current Status of Night-soil Disposal Management and Improvement Strategies was updated. (4) A questionnaire survey was used to examine the status of implementing bodies’ disposal of municipal waste, night-soil, kitchen waste and bulk waste etc. in 2014, as well as the state of the disposal facilities; it is anticipated that the survey results should provide a useful basic reference for the future strengthening of waste management.
