參酌技術盤點之國內外文獻，以不同的樣品進行各種檢測方法的方法及靈敏度測試，目前已完成十字花科黑腐病及西瓜果斑病的標準檢測作業流程（SOP），並與國內相關機構學校合作，完成檢測能力試驗，建立符合TAF檢測實驗室認證文件各一式送交TAF認證基金會進行增項認證的審核工作。
3.種子(苗)品質純度分子檢測技術研發及標準化：
種苗公司自有4個小果番茄雜交品種之雜交組合(兩親本及雜交一代)為材料，100組ISSR通用引子中篩選出6組DNA標誌分別存在父本與F1或母本與F1，無法對F1材料單獨進行識別。利用SCAR方法對6組DNA標誌進行條帶回收、定序及專一性引子設計並對引子專一性進行確認。本計畫並進行Multiplex-PCR最佳反應條件建立，共開發1組Multiplex-PCR具條帶專一性的引子組，可同時對所收集的種苗公司自有4個小果番茄雜交品種之F1種子純度進行自交母本種子及父本種子之檢出。
4. 種子健康檢查驗證體系之建立：
為達到國際種子檢查協會(ISTA)要求各種子檢查室檢驗品質的精準度、整體性與一致性，本計畫依據ISTA發佈之國際種子檢查規則(International Rules for Seed Testing)，建立「種子健康檢查」品質手冊。並根據品質手冊規範制定「十字花科蔬菜種子黑腐病檢測」標準作業流程，進行行政管理與試驗技術過程並記錄表單，然後透過內部稽核達到品質與能力控管。本計畫除已完成「十字花科蔬菜種子黑腐病檢測」，之加項認證文件及檢測能力訓練等準備外，亦遵循ISTA檢查規則第7章之附錄(Seed Health Testing Methods)所列各病害檢測方法積極逐項建立標準作業流程以應將來業務運作時加項認證之須。(附錄中目前經ISTA認可之檢測方法共26項。)
