The project involves the on-site visit and counseling of 260 companies. Importers were counseled on the application for reuse inspection and approval, and online declaration. Since the counseling, proportion of plastic waste and paper waste importers who passed the reuse inspection and approval each month and operational record declaration rate both increase obviously.
Based on characteristics of the industry learned from on-site counseling, adding offline declaration function of operational records for those who imports industrial waste to reuse is recommended. In order to prevent wrong input in standard classification of commodities of the republic of China (C.C.C. Code) and import custom declaration entry number as declaring, limiting the number of characters of declaration field in declaration system is recommended.
