Meanwhile, the program has established the proposal of the administrative regulations of environmental agents for pollution control, the procedure of laboratory announcement, and composes the working guideline for the vector controllers.
To optimize the management system of the environmental agents this year, the program has also built the new and optimized operation system. Corresponding to the variations of the regulation, the actual situation of pest-control industry and the amount of the produced/imported environmental agents both could be monitored by the new adjusted system. The registration management of the technicians of the environmental agents is also controlled by the system data interface in this program. Other system adjustments are mainly due of the new examination and enforcement actions in EEMS. Moreover, the cross-strait information interchange platform, the international regulation database and the mobile website of the information query system in environmental agents are all also provided to the public.
Aspect of administrative advocacy, the cross-strait exchanges and environmental agents controlling seminar had held with 221 participants. Furthermore, this program had held 5 Dengue fever control and educational propaganda activity with 503 participants. 7 system demonstration meetings with 256 participants had been conducted in northern, central and southern Taiwan. An advocacy website of environmentally agents has been updated periodically for the aim of providing the newest environment agent information.
With the well combination between the management policy, system optimization and advocacy activities, the program has promoted the management of environment agents and achieved the goals of safety choosing the environment agents.
