Total road length of 1,272.55 km was inspected for cleanness condition. These roads were classified as clean or moderate and better than that of 2007. 20,349 copies of “Questionnaire for the satisfaction of air quality improvement” were accomplished. The ratio of satisfaction increased from 34.4% for year 2007 to 36.9% for year 2008. The auditing conferences and demonstration party/meeting were hold for opinion exchange between counties and EPA, and to receive recommendations from air pollution control consultant committee.
To review and revise “Auditing Rules for Effects of Local EPB’s State Implementation Plan in 2009”, the emission management related indexes were combined to reflect executed results. In the audit item about “county characteristics and district control”, the major control works were pointed out and concluded for counties to follow up.
To integrate the information system and working mechanism of SIP auditing works, the auditing input forms for year 2009 and the relevant documents for SIP Auditing Information System were compiled by project team and sent to local EPBs.
