The objectives of this project include formulating clustered traffic noise source identification methods to be used in our country in the future, establishing clustered traffic noise control measures that are suitable for the situations of our country, and proposing solutions to serve as references for local environmental protection agencies in dealing with petitions against clustered traffic noises. The work of this project is divided into 4 parts: 1) collecting information on measurement indicators and methods for clustered traffic noises adopted by foreign countries and formulating clustered traffic noise identification methods that are suitable for the situations of our country; 2) establishing clustered noise control measures and prevention methods based on the results of the measurements of clustered traffic noises (at least over 40 measurements on over 20 spots) and their effect on the human body; 3) anticipating the types of petitions against clustered traffic noises in our country and formulating standard procedures for dealing with these petitions; 4) holding two consulting meetings and one keynote speech to collect views and opinions from all circles.
