1. The ITRI, as a recognized non-governmental organization (NGO) by the UNEP, participates in the international meetings related to the Montreal Protocol in 2010 and assists the Taiwan EPA to report annually on production and consumption of ozone depleting substances to the Ozone Secretariat.
2. Pursuant to the control measures of the Montreal Protocol, the project assists the EPA to manage the quota and allocation systems for HCFCs and Methyl Bromide, and also provides the administrative support and consultation from industries related to the ODS management.
3. Gather and analysis information of new developed alternative technologies for the ozone depleting substances controlled to the Montreal Protocol for the local Industries.
4. Gather and analysis information of the ODS bank management strategy to the Montreal Protocol.
5. Assist the customs to seize ODS smuggling and destruct the confiscated smuggled ODS.
6.
