In accordance with the results, they would help EPAT in formulating the rules and strategies on reducing the food loss.(2)Updating and maintain the “Cherish Food Taiwan” platform, which includes information on domestic and international studies, policies, list of operators who join the cherish food program ,latest event news, especially adding the links of Farmers market this year to provide the public a new way to purchase the agricultural and goodwill products. We also build a Facebook fan page “Cherish Food Taiwan”, which updates the information about lectures with live, stories about cherish food, the introduction of stores who join the project and upcoming events. This year, we arranged 20 posts by videos and tips for dummies, and held irregular lottery to draw attentions with the users of Facebook. Nowadays, internet promotion has become a current trend. In order to reach more people, we expect to reveal a video about reducing food waste on November 21st on Facebook and some related platforms.(3) There are two parts of encouraging catering industry and the public to participate cherish food environmental education, which includes: continuing on promoting the program of recruiting operators of cherish food, launching votes on Facebook to increase interaction and exposure with the public. We also hold an appreciation ceremony to encourage the operators on putting the concept of cherishing food into practice initiatively and to invite more operators and people to join the program of reducing food waste. This year, we interviewed the operators who joined last year, collecting the feedback for others reference. A series of lectures activities for cherish food environmental education was held in the north, central, south and east of Taiwan. The lectures incorporated the understanding of goodwill products, whole food cooking methods, food miles, eat local, nutrition, food and farming education, to reduce the production of food waste by the concept of cherish food from different aspect.
