Developing multiple strategies for river basin management, 2 regional conferences were held to encourage to exchange the experience of different areas. Cultivating river patrols as a deliverer of environmental education, 2 courses and trainings were held. The main goal of public participation is to gather people and provides platforms for communication, thus 2 local water environmental conferences were held to collect ideas and suggestions. In addition, to improve local people's understanding of the current status and
development of rivers and share local water environment guarding and relevant experience and knowledge, 2 focal rivers discussion meetings were held.
Furthermore, this year River Conservation Center held water environmental technical observations and river
ecological monitoring activities continuously in the project. The patrol teams from the Yilan county were
chosen to took part in the courses. These monitoring trainings and demonstration activities cultivated the
