Besides, the health effect and occurrence information of contaminants in Preliminary CCL were collected to evaluate if the contaminants should be included into CCL. For implementing the contaminants screening for drinking water quality regulation, 6 organic compounds (1,2-Dibromoethane, 1,1,2-Trichloroethane, 1,2,3-Trichloropropane, 1,2-Dibromo-3-chloropropane, hexachlorobenzene, and hexachlorocyclopentadiene) which without their occurrence information were seleted from PCCL-103 to be monitored in 6 drinking water treatment plants and evaluted their heaklthy risk. Except 1,2-Dibromoethane, other organic compoundsIIIwere not detected in all drinking water treatment plants, and also in the drinking water treatment units in the process, in the three monitors conducting in this project. In addition, this project reviewed the drinking water source quality regulation.
