Besides, this project also reviewed the regulation of phenols, substances that impact health (except volatile organic compounds and pesticide), and the Article 4 of drinking water quality standard. It was suggested that the standard of substances that impact health (except volatile organic compounds and pesticide) were reasonable, expect nickel, mercury, and chlorite. So it was not necessary to modify the standard for those substances, expect nickel, mercury, and chlorite. Finially, this project proposed to substitute the “Drinking water source water quality standard” by “Drinking water source water quality guideline”.
