Secondly, in order to implement the policy of simplifying examination process, the GUI (graphical user interface) of 5th stage noise regulation E-certification systems for motorcycle approval granting applications has been modified and developed since the “Sound Level Control Values of 5th Stage Regulation” was in full operation from the 1st January, 2015, and the efficiency of examination is improved significantly.Besides, in order to ensure the efficiency and convenience of approval granting applications, and objective fairness of the testing process executed by all authorization institutions, the regulation, “Regulations Governing the Issuance and Replacement of Compliance Certification and Sample Testing for New Vehicle Model Noise Inspections,” was revised and proclaimed by EPA via the assistance of this project. Finally, for quick response to international regulations trends, this project continually paid close attention on the progress of EU (European Union) vehicle noise regulations legislation, and consultation with EPA and industries for the next phase 6th vehicle noise regulations. Moreover, Taiwan will apply new regulations for motorcycle noise on the 1st January, 2017. Regarding to car noise of next phase 6th vehicle noise regulations, the EU will apply this new regulation on the 1st January, 2016.
