Transparency International-Taiwan, Trade-Van Information Services Co., and Customs Administration presented Customs and integrity governance in Taiwan, blockchain and technologies applied to border management and Customs clearance as well. Besides local officers from Taiwan Customs Service, representatives from Australia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and others were invited to attend the Workshop. Participants shared their practical experiences related to Digital Customs and comments on the Workshop.
Customs Administration emphasizes that this workshop provided a platform for Customs officers from different countries to exchange experiences of Customs modernization and disruptive technologies applied to clearance procedures, which contribute to the simplification of import and export goods clearance procedures as well as the stability, security, and resilience of the global supply chain.
