Equally, the importers/exporters will receive the photos, apply for extending the due date for submitting documents of non-infringement and upload them on the e-platform as well. It is foreseeable that the new measures will benefit both trademark owners and importers/exporters by saving money, time, and manpower.
The Customs Administration further announces that the e-platform is now online for operation (website: https://portal.sw.nat.gov.tw/PPL/index). The trademark owners and importers/exporters can log onto the e-platform by using the password provided by Customs and start the procedure of identifying trademark infringement cases online. For any technical problem arising from operating the e-platform, please feel free to dial our toll-free number 0800-299-889 during office hours or dial 02-2550-5500 ext. 2301 during the night and holidays.
The Customs Administration states that Customs will continue reviewing Customs laws, regulations, and relevant procedures. We will spare no effort to refine current border measures so as to improve the quality of public service and enhance the efficiency of administrative management.
