The responsible enterprises should volunteer to recycle the electric bikes in short-term, then bring the electric bikes into the regulated vehicles in long-term. According to the ELV Directive 2000/53/EC, this project had calculated domestic ELV’s 3R rates in 2017. As a result, the reuse and recycle rate is 86.26%, and recovery rate is 98.34%. Also the project had completed capturing 20 responsible enterprises who hadn’t paid the levy fee (about 0.98 million NTD), and the results were submitted to EPA. 3. Hold the ELV workshopThe project team completed 3 educational sessions of ELV’s workshops and presented the issue concerning how to improve the in-situ management, increase ASR recycling efficiency, and assist participants to familiar with the operation of RRMS.
