The result was satisfactory and compliant with construction requirements.In accordance with the marine environment leach testing method announced by the Environmental Analysis Laboratory (EAL), the Work Plan covered the evaluation of the test standard, effluent standard and drinking water quality standard in Taiwan and overseas, and assessment of the marine environment leach testing standard suitable for Taiwan. Upon assessment, it is recommended that Japan Environmental Agency’s No.13 test standard be used as the test standard in Taiwan.In terms of the draft for “White Paper on Policy Planning for Proper Handling of Household Garbage and Industrial Wastes”, a part of the Work Plan involved providing assistance in compiling the competent authorities’ written materials, organizing four district preparatory meetings, one national policy conference preparatory meeting and one national policy conference, and organizing conclusions of the meetings.
