Furthermore, specified businesses cannot refuse to accept for recycling articles bearing the "Four-in-One" recycling logo.Within the scope of recycling activities, the EPA is still planning specifications for the installation and use of recycling bins, bags for separation, iron and aluminum can compressing equipment, recycling vehicles, and other types of collection containers. Under the current draft amendments, however, vendors are only required to affix the "Four-in-One" recycling logo to recycling bins and to comply with clearance and handling requirements. Whether the EPA will require recycling bins to be of standardized types and specifications has not yet been determined.In response to inquiries about whether vendors and other specified businesses can apply to the Recycling Management Fund Committee for subsidies, the EPA has indicated that because the laws have obligated vendors to recycle, they should be responsible for bearing all recycling equipment costs.The EPA's Bureau of Solid Waste Control stated that final review and promulgation of the draft regulations will occur soon.
